The Thrifty Quaker once again steps up to support non-violence

Thrifty Quaker

The Virginia Center for Public Safety (VACPS) is pleased to announce that the Midlothian Friends Meeting has chosen VACPS for sponsorship at their thrift shop - The Thrifty Quaker - during October 2024 in honor of the Month of Non-violence.

Proceeds will be split between VACPS and the Richmond Public Schools Education Fund: Trauma & Healing Response Fund.

Our supporters can show their appreciation to the Friends Meeting by donating gently used items to the Thrifty Quaker in Midlothian and also shopping there during the month of October.

The Thrifty Quaker accepts any items that could be sold at a yard sale, such as furniture, household items, clothing, books, electronics, and appliances.

The Thrifty Quaker is located in the Midlothian Station Shopping Center at the corner of Midlothian Turnpike (Rt. 60) and Coalfield Road. The address is 13567 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian VA 23113, and is located in the corner of the 'L' shaped shopping center.
